Hello everyone.
I currently edit on Resolve, for working with raw footage, what is the ideal workflow for taking your footage into, let’s say Nuke, with or without pre-grade?
Do you work on raw camera footage, or do you export EXRs for VFX?
I see there are OCIO transforms for many manufacturers to linear, but none for a BMD camera which I own.
So how should I be sending my footage into VFX and what should I be doing to maintain the best possible image quality?
Also when I’m adjusting my exposure in camera raw tab of Resolve in ACES space, for later exports is there a risk of clipping lows/highs, or introducing noise when archiving without ODT?
