“The second part of the initial workshop was dedicated to the workflows using industry standard ACES (Academy Color Encoding System), from the camera capture to display on an HDR monitor. This technical presentation was given by Francisco Ramos Howell, HDR Workflow Specialist and Colorista who has more than ten years of professional experience in film, television and advertising. Ramos explained the different parts of the ACES standard, and how the Hollywood Academy wanted to unify the film production process, in an open and agnostic system that improves the exchange of materials. Later, the colorist clarified how to master projects in ACES.”
